Black Magic 4K mini URSA
The Black Magic 4K mini URSA was the camera that we used to film our opening title sequence. I was the Director of Photography on our set meaning I was in charge of the actual shooting of our opening title sequence. a lot of the shots that we used in our sequence we had to steadily manoeuvre the camera tripod, the opening shot that i talk about in the Tripod description being one of them, but also the extreme close up shots. the close up shots were a difficult one to manoeuvre as we had to adjust not only the tripod, but also the camera for each shot. some of the shots that we did were almost over the head shots, so we had to be very gentle with the camera when angling it.

YouTube
After we recorded all of our behind the scenes footage on our shoot day, our group member Annie edited all of the footage together and uploaded it to youtube. we uploaded it to youtube as it is an easily accessible online platform that we all had access too, and it is very simple to upload and share media from youtube

Vinten Tripod
the Vinten Tripod was the tripod that we used while shooting our final draft. we first learned how to use the Vinten Tripod in a workshop where we learnt the basics. for our actual shoot day we had to use a lot or tracking and panning shots so learning how to use the Tripod was crucial. one of the big shots where a tripod was crucial to the scene was the opening shot of the father and the daughter sitting at the table. for this shot one of my group mates Annie and I had to handle the tripod together, one of us manning the top of the tripod and stabilising the camera, the other below pushing the bottom of the tripod. The shot began with an over the shoulder shot of the daughter , with focus on the father, then slowly panned to the top of the table with a focus on both the father and the daughter. since it was both of our first times manning a tripod like this and getting a shot like this it we had to learn on the shoot day, and keep practicing the shot before the got the final shot

Outlook
On the days leading up to our shoot day we used the Email programme Outlook to communicate with our cast about timings and location and confirming schedules. we used outlook for this as our cast was a member of staff at our school, so using the schools email format was the most efficient was of contacting them.
